Steps: Measure out the following dry ingredients, and add them to a mixing bowl: 2 cups maize meal 1/2 a teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of sugar Mix the dry ingredients. Beat the egg into 1 cup of milk and add this mixture to the dry ingredients, and mix well into a paste. Ensure the side f the pot are clean and dry. Line the sides of the pot with the paste Pour a small amount of water in the pot, make sure that it does not touch the corn paste. Place on a stove and bring to boil, the steam generated will cook the paste. After 20 to 30 mins the paste will have stiffened and cooked. turn off the heat and allow to cool. Use a butter knife to cut into the cooked bread while it is still attached to the side of the pot, then peal it from the sides of the pot. Serve warm or cold, usually accompanies tea.
